Data Entry Job With Walgreens

Walgreens Central Pharmacy Operations is currently looking for full-time data entry technicians.

Duties:

-Read and review prescriptions; enter prescription data into Walgreens’ system

-Learn and understand Walgreens’ prescription data entry guidelines and procedures

-Interpret medical abbreviations

-Troubleshoot prescriptions to obtain missing information

-Other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements
-Basic computer skills and data entry experience

-Ability to enter prescription data quickly and accurately, and perform days supply calculations (both will be evaluated during selection process)

-Ability to thrive in a team environment

-Previous pharmacy experience helpful but not required

- Age 18 and High School graduate or equivalent

-Certified Pharmacy Technician, or must become Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years of becoming a licensed trainee
