Updated: 1/8/2012 Freelance Music Video Editor To Whom it May Concern: BAMM.tv, an up and coming music and video production and distribution company, is seeking top-notch freelance music video editors for contract work. Over the past two years BAMM has produced hundreds of projects with a large variety of musicians. We're currently building a network of highly skilled editors to complete previously shot projects that have not yet seen the light of day. These videos will potentially be seen by millions of viewers across the world, so quality and creativity are paramount. We will start by selecting editors whose reels demonstrate a strong understanding and intuition for pairing music and video. Each chosen editor will start with an audition project - that is, we will offer one song by an artist for you to edit as an example of your approach to our footage. You will be paid for your work, and the video will then be reviewed by our in-house post-production team, which will examine your video for quality and creativity, determining to what extent we would like to invite you to work with us in the future. On average, an editor may spend between 7 - 14 hours editing, revising and completing one nicely polished video from one of our sets, depending on the nature of the music and the footage. Please respond indicating your level of interest and availability to edit BAMM music videos on a regular freelance basis. Shortly thereafter we will arrange a way to give you footage with instructions on how to edit the piece. We believe this is a great opportunity for skilled editors to make money on the side while also boosting a portfolio. As mentioned, BAMM's content reaches viewers in over 150 countries and is featured with major content distributors through various channels. We believe BAMM is innovating a new business model for the music industry, helping musicians make money and gain exposure without big label influence.
