Custom Ornamental Gates for Your Farm or Home

Today, I am sharing a local family small business. The Engstroms are good friends of ours, and they own a small family business, called Custom Ornamental Gates. Mr. Clark can make any type of gate you might like. He has openers and installs all his gates himself. All you have to do is contact him for pricing and info. He has made a cowboy on a horse gate, and says he can make a spaceship gate even, if someone wanted that. Just contact them at mfgengstrom.com or visit their Facebook page, Custom Gates FL, to ask questions and get more information. I will be assisting them in setting up their own blog, and they have a Twitter acct. All this social media stuff is kind of new to them, so it is best to contact them via the email shown, to get started.

Gag Christmas Gift #1 Reindeer Candle

Poop that is, lol!  So, for this blog, I have decided to share some pretty awesome gag gifts for your Christmas list.  Some of us have friends and family that would truly appreciate these gifts, because they have a sense of humor, for the rest of them, oh well!  This first one is a reindeer poop soy candle.  I love it!

Some Changes

I am in a evaluate kind of mood, and you will notice some changes on this page.  I now will be taking orders for text links and banner links.  All ads are for 30 days from the time I get them posted.  Use the Paypal button to buy your ad.  Leave me a message if you have any questions.  I no longer am doing link exchanges, these have never worked out to my benefit.  I also will do a review of your product or website.  Again use the Paypal button to purchase.  If it is a product you may have to send me the product to sample before I do a review.

Link Vehicle Is A Legitimate Site

As promised, I said I would come back and update if Link Vehicle was a legitimate site or not. It most definitely is, pays on the first just like promised. Their customer service is also superb, as I had a question about payout, and they answered me within just a few hours. If you have a blog, and you would like to make a little extra cash, click the banner below to join. Good luck, and let me know how it works for you.

Scams, Comments and Thanksgiving Decor

First off Cash2refer is a scam. I posted about it a bit ago. Well I made my payout, rather effortlessly, when I requested payout it immediately said my account was deactivated for some unknown reason. I attempted to contact customer service, and the email failed over ten times. So, there is no customer service at all. That makes it a scam. Don't join it, it is a waste of your time. And trust me, nothing irritates me more than wasting my time. Link Vehicle, however does appear to be legit. I will know on the first of November when they pay me. I love Fall, especially Thanksgiving. Because, here in FL, we don't get a lot of leaf change, I decorate a lot for Fall. I grew up in the North and miss the Fall foliage a lot. Thanksgiving is also my husband's favorite holiday. So, after the next few months, I will be sharing ideas for the holidays. Not necessarily work at home, but have fun at home. I hope to find some seasonal jobs to share as well. Now, for the comments. A while ago I turned on comment moderation because I was spam comments. I hate spam almost as much as time wasting. This is my third blog, and I moderate my son's writing blog for homeschool, so I am quite busy. So, this blog gets put to the end of all other things. So, if you left me a comment sometime ago, I apologize. There were a lot of very nice comments, and just a few spam. So, a very big improvement. Keep leaving me your comments. I love to hear from you.

Cash to Refer and Link Vehicle

I have not posted on here for such a long time, so sorry for that.  I have been incredibly busy with the homeschooling of my children, and all their activities they are in.  I also work part time out of the house, and love to paint and make jewelry.  So, I am quite busy.  So, today I decided to share two work at home job opportunities with you today.

Cash2Refer is not really a job.  You do it at home, but it is basically promoting.  All you do is post your referral link and you earn two dollars each unique visitor.  Payout is with Paypal or Payza after you reach 100 dollars.  I am almost at payout, so I hope it is not a scam, and I really get paid.  I will let you know if they don't pay me, trust me.

I no longer work for ChaCha, so for a while I had a lot of free time on my hands.  Now, even if I did work for them, I would not have time to do it.

The second is Link Vehicle.  This is a website that will pay you to post reviews, links and text links on your blogs.  You have to apply, of course, be approved, then set your prices in the market place.  Then you have to write the review, and place it on your blog.  I get 15 dollars per review.  I just started posting reviews, so I have not been paid as of yet.  According to their FAQs you get paid on the 1st of the month, as long as you have made 10 dollars or more.  I especially like this website, and it works well for me.  I did not see this rule on their site, but a good practice is to post at least two of your own posts in between a review post.  Readers of your blog really don't want to just read reviews, unless you advertise your blog as a strictly review site.  Plus search engines frown upon it.  At least that is what I have been told in SEO classes.

The Ugly Duckling and Killer Work From Home Jobs

My free Kindle book this week, is for kids. It is The Ugly Duckling, one of my favorite kids books ever. If you don't own a Kindle, you can still download these books. If you have an Android phone or tablet there is an app. If you want to read on the computer you can download Kindle for pc or the Cloud for pc. These are all free. The second book is in relation to working from home. I have not read it myself. The second book is not a free book. I am a new Amazon affiliate, so if you happen to buy something from one of my blogs I do get a very small percent of the sale. If you have please leave a comment letting my readers know how it was. Please do not spam me. I will remove all comments that do no relate to the topic and are just a link to somewhere else. This is very rude!

Identity by Ted Dekker

Once a week, or maybe twice, I will be sharing a free Kindle book for you to download. I will try to add some affordable ones too during the week, or every couple of weeks. I have gotten some really awesome free ebooks, and some not so hot ones. Some I don't even finish reading. Anyway this one is a thriller and written by the NY Times best selling author, Ted Dekker, so I am thinking it will be good. I will be downloading this to my ereader today as well. Happy reading!

I Have Rejoined Clixsense

I was a member of Clixsense for several years, before I let my account go dormant. I have just recently started using it again, and I am pleased to say it is even better than before. One of the things I like best is they now can pay you with Paypal. Before it was always by check, which is OK, but Paypal is way more convenient. They also accept Payza which I have never heard of or used. This site is a reliable site, and while you won't become a millionaire it is an easy way to make a few extra bucks, and save for something fun. I am inviting you to join me, by clicking the banner below, and signing up today.

Spam and More Work From Home Opportunities

I realize I have neglected this blog of late.  This is not intentional, just very busy and have not had time to search for new work at home jobs that are legit.  I homeschool my kids, and we are at the end of the school year, so I should be able to dedicate more time to this blog very soon.  In the mean time thanks for visiting, and check back often.  Check the archives, there is a lot of info there.  Also, if you spam me I will be removing these comments.  I have it set up so comments have to be approved before posting, but I think that setting is either not working or somehow I turned it off.  I will not tolerate spam.  If you want to advertise a site on this blog, contact me, please.  If you leave a decent comment that is pertinent to the topic and leave a website to share I will let that slide, but comments that are just spam will be deleted.  Thank you!

Southern Strife ebook

I just finished Southern Strife last week. The original name of the book was changed from, The Promised Land, to Southern Strife. Only problem is the new title, and the image on the cover does not fit the story well at all. Yes, there was some racial tension, and the Klan even burned a cross, intimidated a biracial family, and one Klan member even killed an African American man. However, the true basis of this story was about a young girl struggling to deal with an alcoholic, slutty, and paranoid schizophrenic mother. The fact that it took place in the South during the sixties, does not make it a book about racial tensions. This poor girl, whose mother obviously loathed her, was jealous of her and did everything in her power to make sure she was not considered attractive or interesting. In the end the girl does escape, and though it never says for sure, hopefully made a lasting friendship with a biracial boy she became close to in her ordeal. A good book, but definitely not five stars as some readers claim. I give it three stars, should have left the title alone, and I might have given it four stars.

Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy

All right you all, here is the risque book I was telling you about before. I am on the third book, and will not give my thoughts until I am done. However, this might make an interesting Valentine's Gift for lovers. Please note these books are graphic, and not for the faint of heart.

Loreal Dry Oil

Every now and then, I love to share products I absolutely love. I don't dress fancy, and I love my 20 yr old Crocs, but I love purses and my hair to look nice. I have thick, course hair and you can imagine it is not very soft. I also colored it for 20 years which damage it alot. It is also very long, and even though I did not color it for two years, it is still very coarse. Anyway just a couple of weeks ago I discovered Loreal dry oil. Now I have tried every product imaginable, with only so so effect to my hair. Garnier Fructis used to be my favorite, until now. Yes, this is kind of expensive, but it will last you about a month. So, 9 dollars a month is really not that expensive. It is oil, but does not make your hair greasy, which I love. Plus, my hair is soft and healthy looking. It can go on wet or dry hair. Try it!
